I've got for sale the old Diff that has come off of my Automatic Celica Supra.
I can only assume that it was the one originally with the car, which means it has done 120,000 miles. My Supra was and still is my daily drive. The diff works as it should, although (and i'm not an expert) I believe the Pinion bearing is either worn or slightly miss aligned which causes a lovely High Pitched wailing noise to come from the diff whenever under acceleration. This is especially noticeable above 50 MPH and is at its loudest between 70 - 80 MPH. above 80 the wind noise is greater so it becomes less noticeable.
The only reason I swapped it out for another was because I do a lot of motorway driving for my job and it was getting annoying as hell and as my time is limited I thought it quicker to do a straight swap in an afternoon than spend a few days trying to repair something I don't understand properly.
Hopefully it is salvageable for someone.
Anyway i'm based in London and for £50 someone is welcome to it
