Not sure if these are to big for the Supra?
Any advise or other wheel you can think of? The difference in price of tyres and refubing my wheels i might as well buy another set.

There is a thread on celicasupra.com about what wheels those guys have fitted over the pond, quite a helpful guide and worth a read

I did read through it but most of those wheels are available here.
Need something that does break the bank but does the offset job.

Apart from the last ones the ets are quite week aren't they? I would like them to be close to the arches. So the last ones are really my only option?
So we reckon 15s are the best option?

if you reset the camber on the rear, then they will sit quite nicely, Once you Drop them, you get mega neg camber on the back, and the rim lips sit more inside the arch I have to run quite a bit of neg camber on the front of mine so the ET-14 15 x9" compo Front wheels fit flush inside the arches, otherwise they Stick out. ET0 looks quite nice on the front actually, it's the rears that at least need an ET-10 to look at home. So you might as well got ET-10 All round . I'd say for cheapness of tyres, and in keeping with the Classic Jap car look, 15-16" wheels with a shitload of dish are the way to go, 17- 18" wheels just look a bit too big and nasty imo, They Gear up the final drive too much, have to run skinny ass tyres and increase weight
My Compomotives were £640 a set, but they are made to order in your choice of offsets. I did do a thread lst year about having the 14 x7" celica supra wheels Remade by Compomotive into a 15 x 9" with mega dish and low offsets. Worked out around £800- 900 a set for a batch of 15 wheels. Got a bit of interest, but not enough to find £10,000 and see if they'd sell! I needed a grand alone for Compomotive to design them.

If i get the et0 then i could put a 10mm spacer on the rear?
£680 a bit more than i wanted to spend but would be happy around the £500 mark.
Got to remember i got to put rubber on them.

Some lovely choices of wheels ther I alwas thought rotas would of been more expensive when I first got the car my intension was to fit a set of super lights onto the car and a janspeed exhaust and have. The car sitting like a big twin-cam and use it for cursing around in
but the past two Sunday mornings Ive taken the car out at 6am (because that is the only time I get) And have been able to push the car hard and enjoyed the handling for an old car they have a great balance and feel for the road but if I want to start driving like this I'll need to get a narrower set of rims as with the 225s that are on have way no much grip in the dry I think narrower tyres would help with a more controllable slide so when she is of the road over the winter might get a set of rotas RKR or similar
Sorry if I have went a bit of topic maby a couple to Meny the night lol

Nah, drunken tech typing is waay more fun, you go for your life son! Haha, and your quite right, to have some fun, the 225 on the 14" is overkill and you get massive sidewall flex . When i use my stock 14" iron crosses on the back for drifting i usually get some 185 -60- 14" tyres if i know its going to be dry , or 195's if theres a good chance of rain. Found 45psi wet and 50-55psi dry is about the best compromise i've found. For a front set up i run 205-55-15" Toyo t1r's with 28psi in there on my 15 x 9j Compomotive's and the difference some Grippy tyres on the front makes is unreal compared to 225 60-14" previous set up despite the tyre being thinner than both the 14" and the 9j rim on the compo's. Tyres maketh the car so choose wisely (copy AE86 Boys) Get rid of the body roll and the car really comes alive mate.

I'll be going with the rota grid drifts. 16 inches of mighty fine legs right there.

Offsets are crap though aren't they? im fairly sure they can be supplied with lower et. i'll look into it when i decide to buy. I have a few mates that have requested different offsets that weren't listed on other wheels, so fingers crossed.

What offset do you reckon I should go for? Looking at 15x8 and I don't want to mess with arches but want them looking fairly pokey???
