hi. just thought i would pop a quick thread up of my mark II skid project. i have been restoring and building a 240k skyline and needed a break from rust so bought this. it was supposed to be a quick easy one but finding bits and getting it together is being a bit of a headache so its not going as quickly as i hoped.
the car
add 1 nardi wheel...
s14 rims fit good with no spacers!!! wierd...
i bought the car with a knackered bottom end and an auto box. i had a spare w58 and picked up a cheap ls400 with the 1uzfe inside. i was going to fit it in the datsun but have opted for a nissan powerplant instead for that.
so pulled out the 1gfe lump
bought some s13 coilovers and threw the fronts on.
plenty of low available ;D
bought these, lol'd then sold them again...
started playing with the v8, getting clutch flywheel and bellhousing fitted for mock up...
squeeeeeeeze it in there...
new rimmage, only 2 though
so its mounted in the car now, need to get prop section made to length, find a handbrake and make a clutch pedal fit, need to get a clutch fork pivot that fits the bellhousing and make all that work. then make brakets for nissan 4 pots up front and turn some spigots to fit the discs, rear coilovers need adapting, manifolds need making and full 2.5" twin system needs to be made too. also bouth a million other little bits to sort out, then the wiring. that im dreading most of all cos i dont have any reference guides or knowledge about it. i hate electrics!
hope you like.
