I went into Spax today. They Only make the dampers in house, so they gave me a number of their special parts manufacturer. www.dfaulknersprings.com/specials.htmI've got a bit of measuring and design work to do first, then have the finished dimensions and desired rate worked out but i'm thinking of keeping it basic and going for a 335LB/ INCH Rate spring (6kgf/mm) Also will be designing some Height adjustment collars to sit above the spring. either be stainless steel with aluminum collars or All ali if it works out cheap enough to justify. ;D Is this going to be offered as an alternative to the chopped struts with s13 coil overs then bud?

Ahh actually, I see what you're doing, I kinda jumped to the conclusion that you were using their coilovers too lol. D Faulkner springs seem well priced too, especially for larger orders. what are the standard spring rates on our cars?

You got it, just a product for the shop. I'm i remember rightly stock rear spring rate is 200lb and gets a bit harder when cut down. They're old parts though now so a refreshed spring will be much better for peace of mind as well as having some height adjustability.
Yeah, once i've designed the new ones i'll be doing a group order on them.
