Boom indeed! Those manifolds are a work of art! Damn good work shifty,That re fabbed oil cooler looks pretty smart too. Starion rims when there all shiny and painted are gunna look mental on that too. whats the offest on the rears like? I will have a search around for which clutch fork to use, but it's baffling why the mk2 and 3 ones are way out of alignment. This guy used alot of diesel parts from hilux surfs ect. wiki. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_KD_enginewww.ksracing.net/forums/index.php?topic=7546.0

i got the exhaust hanging in place loosely, needs lots nore work and finishing but sounds good through the single 3" rear box. had to compromise due to lack of space to route a twin system.

Mate, that sounds brutal! How much you got left to do on it? Oh, and are you gunna put some arches on there with the wheels? or run without spacers? Starions will look ace and drive better than the grams too. Surprised how tight it is in the bay tbh, thought being a v8 you'd be able to run the viscous fan, but then again it wasn't designed with a v8 in mind eh! P.m or fb me your address so i can send you some stickers, i gotta kick the sticker people's arse tomorrow, asi haven't heard back from them lately. but hoping it wont be long, ( they are the same design as the forum heading, so should be nice and bright)

Nice! Been watching this on DW too, good work mate. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to tug the arches out far enough really.

yeah i was undecided for ages about what to do with the tail section, was looking at balancing the systems it then having 2 silencers exiting either side in front of the rear wheels or a twin system all the way back with twin 2.5" exits, the fact i had to go under the subframe meant 3" pipework was the most straight forward option, i love the subtle slash cut 3" exit now though, not a fan of mega huge jap cans and i like the sleeper effect this gives. you damn right, i wanna get this car out on the road asap, gonna be savage.

this needs an update really. as of today its road legal(ish) need a new screen and smaller rear tyres to fit inside the arch but otherwise mot was grand... few issues i have to sort out. front brakes judder badly, got new discs on the way and will be re making the caliper spacers. the clutch is dead and shakes like an arse. i bought an exedy padle clutch and a new ram throwout bearing to go in when i get it all figured out. it runs pretty hot with the one fan, i made a bodged up fan cowl but it didnt help, got a par of 12" fans coming.. power steering is random, sometimes it works lovely and sometimes its hard as fook... dunno what thats all about, maybe belt slippage?
i will get a pic dump on the way another time but for now i must say, v8's are awesome.
