Hello my name is Nathan and I'm new(ish) to the scene.
I'm currently the proud owner of a 84 Celica Supra which I have owner for around 7 months now. About 3 weeks after I brought the car I was informed about this site by someone at a car show, but could find absolutely no trace of it until today (exciting times!). It's my daily drive and I absolutely love it. I've been doing her up on the side and she is 100% mechanically sound.
Judging by reading other posts I was extremely lucky to find a almost rust free example especially for so cheap. The only slight downside was that although the sunroof worked it never closed properly because of a few rust bubbles causing it to leak. After making a right hash at trying to fix it I pretty much ruined my sunroof/roof. It is currently made water tight with bathroom sealant. Next of my list if a respray as the red paint is faded on the bonnet and roof. But to do this I need a new sunroof.
I guess my main question is just how easy are non mechanical parts to come by in the UK.
I had joined up to the celicasupra.com forum but pretty much gave up trying to find out anything from there as it was made up almost entirely of Americans.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
