Sweet was thinkin june. Do you book a place or just arrive and pay?
The black one is in the process of breakin my spine. Got my rear dampers on it front lowering springs and put the none adjustable anti roll bar on. Waty too stiff. But good fun all the same. Did notice that the top bolts for the droplink on the adjustable ARB were hitting the chassis rails. Yours appears to be a different design but it may be worth crawling under it when the supension is loaded just to check.

That TRD spoiler, that colour scheme, those watts, Looks like a giant 86.
Not that thats in any way a bad thing, looks very good in fact, but to complete the effect you need a live rear axle, they did fit them to the RA6x chassis, when I went to canada I saw it with my own eyes, on Jacks celica, it was goosed so he replaced it with a (gold dust) mk1 supra live rear axle. It just bolted on, only complication was the mk1 supra axle was disc rears as opposed to the original drums. Anyways, I digress. Very nice work Neil, on the car and the forum.

Thanks cas & good to have you on here! Your encyclopedic knowledge will definatly benefit some of the other members with ma61 cars A live axle rear end would be stunning, But im just worried about finding one! I do like the way it drives at the moment tbh, Diff needs tightening and the camber needs sorting, but i'll be using it as a test mule for some parts i've been working on so down want to go too crazy with making it vastly different to what the standard car comes with. Oh yeah, did you ever compete in ukd1 with a black one with hks stickers? i was watching an old fifth gear video anddid wonder if it was you?

Good to be here Neil, glad to have somewhere to go, had my fill of driftworks for one lifetime! Also don't bother going live axle unless you get really bored, it would be a lot of work welding suspension pickups on for not a lot of difference! As for the car in the 5th gear footage, Nope not guily! that was Nick Spickett I think, I might have been there though, I remeber bieng at at event at where people were filming, and I think I was in a burgundy MA61, IIRC I got A decent placing out of 25/30 cars, condidering mine was bone stock apart from bieng stripped out and having a side exit exhaust, I'll have to keep an eye out for footage/pics of it, as there were some at the time, it was a pretty haggard example though, rusty and faded, but drove really well, tight suspension and diff. Oh I put 'umm, sold' on that ebay link, did you see the winning bidder? MK4 supras aren't really 'classic' yet, I didn't want to feel left out!

Very small update, Master cylinders seals went the other day, which was fcuking scary! I've rode bmx bikes brakeless and didnt like it, so driving with no brakes is equally sketchy. Now on the look out for a mk3 1" master cylinder or even better a 1,1/8" bore one so i can run some bigger nissan 4 pot calipers from a s14. In other news i now have a set of nissan s13 apex gen 1 coilovers and gone upto a 205-55-15" set of Toyo TR1's on the front as want the car to look more like how the japanese scene use similar sizes on their old 240z's skylines ect.. Pics when i can find the usb lead...

fair play dude the vid is sweet it takes a fair bit of lead foot to get the tyres to smoke like that man very nice.
I'm with you on the master cylinder front it happened to my old one fortunately it was when i fitted braided lines and the cylinder ran dry then it took me about 5 litres of dot 5.1 to realise. The mk3 one looks like it will bolt straight on it just needs slight relocation of the brake lines. I proper pikey'd mine and wedged the mk3 seals into the mk2 cylinder. It worked but I wouldn't recomend it to anyone else. Fortunately cas then sorted me a new master cylinder before i did too many miles.

Could'nt load it onto vimeo coz its over 500,MB Boo Yeah, they've discontinued the master cyl rebuild kits now as phoned up in the week my local toyota dealer. and the parts guy knows his shit, was nigh on £100 for the non existant part anyway, so was never gunna pay that. Mk3 is a 1" bore too, so will work better when i put those brakes on you gave me

From watching mad cas's genius buxton raceway video I was inspired to do a soundtrack of equal amazingness as his use of Tina Turner. So here's another video i made a few days ago, Drivings crap but thought i'd do something with the footage! ;D

That's why i love these cars, ;D Spend pocket money on suspension and you've got a car with a 2 way diff, brilliant drivers seat and an unburstable engine that loves to rev. I drove it to work all week after this video. And after filling the tank in Oxford on the way to santa pod i drove it till it was half full, drove home and still had enough fuel for the rest of the week!

Went to retro rides gathering at prescott hill with the car,And met up with the brotherhood. Not a drift event, but in my eye's the best car show in the u.k. Didn't have enough money to take the car up the hill:cry:, but did manage to get a little passenger ride with chay In his N2 kitted ae86. So, made a little video, Still learning how to edit stuff though, so don't expect a brooksie:no::smash: Got some new tyres for the rears! Toyo tr1's in 205-55-15" to match the fronts. £127 for the pair inc. next day delivery. good old camskill.:smash: ^ Pic with arch missing. with lonely arch side

And went drifting at pod on the 28th sept. (Photo's from my mate ed, who had the red s14a and was popping his drift cherry) I look deformed in this photo:nod: Despite the lack of smoke they go through tyres well. Car felt down on power, had to combat this by putting more air in the rear tyres and just nail it in 2nd, as it bogged down in 3rd:cry:. Guessing it was a bit less than the 178bhp they are meant to be, so was a bit hard work trying to get enough speed up (excuses excuses:nod::euge:) then i killed the pas rear wheel arch when the tyre blew up. so need one of those now, as the rest of it got anhialated out on track, Also want a bit more spice with this engine, so thinking either a 2JZGE or whacking on a Eaton M90- M112 Supercharger at lazy boost form a merc kompressor Hmm, if only i could find some cams for these engines, I'd be going that direction but reluctant to have them regrinded. Either way, i'm gunna have to do some work on her, as the speed humps/ short journey's and drifting havent been kind to her. The Weir performance diff kit > driftoy.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tech&action=display&thread=67will also be installed during the winter as the diff's pretty sloppy now. U. k group buys are still open for all weir performance products dependant on spence's stock level's, so let me contact him first about item availibility
