What you're missing is all the cleaning, checking, welding, replacing and repainting between those photos!
It's a nice looking car for sure, and they were a GREAT choice of wheels!

In my oppinion Anti roll bars are the best suspension mod bar none I have the whiteline ones and it transformed the handling the rear one makes it a lot less violent when linking up drifts and the front one makes it change diretion like a fly.
Love the colour scheme dude very nice. What front splitter you got on?

Splitter off a volvo 740 mate, Fits pretty nice, but not speed bump friendly where i live, so have had to take it off as i was trashing the bumper consolations prizes though ;D Delivered last week, but i've been slack taking photos Driftworks got them in for me. 347 of my English pounds, Bloody aussies, they put the sticker upside down Hopefully get them fitted at the weekend. I had a set of eibach anti roll bars on my bmw 328 before, and they are definitely the best things to buy for getting a car to handle without needing to go for silly hard springs to prop the car up. Good on a track, but shite on the road, which is where the car gets used. Few more photos i took the other day. Fitting next, stay tuned

So. When is she being lowered? Looking really good these days mate! Me and you to RR again this summer? Might be persuading a friend (female too!) to come along in her old Mini as well, so we'll have to cut back on speed a little!

Hell yeah! Im well looking forward to retro rides this year, the hill climb is gunna be epic. I wont go bombing it off this year either, due to the cost of fuel As for lowering, I dunno. The place i live has tonnes of those middle of the road speed bumps and it eats sumps, So either i slam it and creep everywhere at 2mph or i keep it at the height it is and get another sump off supraslide to use as a template for a higher, wider sump with hinged baffles. Fuck it, buy another sump! Anti roll bar fitting updates.. Rear one first. Front one was a total bitch. The holes which the roll bars sit through are a standard 40mm And the ends of the whiteline bars are 50mm, Mark, my mate and fabricator, whose workshop i use suggested cutting a notch was the best way to go, and he had the plasma cutter out. all i had to do was prep it for cutting. (Notice notch cut out.) Sadly, getting them through the holes still proved to be a mare,so hence the scratched to hell bars. Put a lick of paint on them after, so not the end of the world. Bad design though if it's the same for all ma60 models. All fitted And, woah! Supraslide was bang on the money, A noticeable reduction in body roll, Some nasty noises i got when going over speed humps have gone due to the new bushes (Thought it was the springs) And it handles amazingly now from what i've noticed, I set the front to the softest setting and the rear to the middle setting, as i want to play around with it for the best compromise of daily drive fun, and occasional drift days. As it still drives more towards oversteer at the mo, im quite happy to keep it like it is. All in all, as the packaging said, the best upgrade bang for buck you can do to a car. They may not be able to put a sticker on the right way up, but they were not lying!

Tidy dude. Thought you'd have that problem with the holes on the mounting bracket. As mine are the non adjustables the flanges were not quite so big so I took the pikey option and ground the flange back a bit. Still plenty of meat on them though. Were the new mounting brackets supplied with the bars any use cuz the ones I had were a million miles out with the hole spacings. Ended up using the old ones. Take it from your comments your pretty chuffed though. Dunno if you got my message on DW but have got a spare sump for a 5m but you can have the old engine with 2 sumps all the parts listed and an original toyota 5m parts directory/rebuild guide for £100 if you collect. Also have those callipers if your still interested.

Thanks jake, glad you like the paint. You should definitely consider buying a ma61 if you can get a cheap one. They are so reliable and quite light really. I'd like a ma70 at some point though, Still got to get some ma70 adjustable arms made for the forum / ebay shop as they're not available in the u.k.

Firstly, thanks to supraslide for giving me some new bits... (More on that later in the show ) But a small update on the wing front. My front drivers side got smacked by a hit and run driver 10 days after i got it on the road. I got damages and everything, but never got round to finding a wing with the money So a while ago i typed in "celica supra wings" in on google And these came up on ebay. The auction had ended about a month before with 0 bids, but it had a phone number. Phoned the guy up and he agreed to do them both for 45 pounds including postage I was curious how much each wing weighed, so i put them on the scales... and was a stone each The plan is to get these wings repaired, prepped and use them as patterns for FRP copies to sell to you guys. I need group buyers for this to happen, and to be a reasonable price. Quality WILL be top notch. If i'm not happy with the results i wont be selling them on. We wont be having any shit parts on driftoy

7kg's per wing! Wow!
I'd expect FRP versions to be no more than 3kg's, and most likely 2kg's or so! You're making me really want one of these some time...

Yeah, hopefully they will be much lighter and less crusty than 26 year old japanese steel! You know you gotta buy one someday. I found a few more photos and a crap little video of me trying to get angle in a play pen Will be going to the pod again on the 27th of this month, so will get some nice videos of the car with whitelines being tested and generally raped
